Instructions for useINTRODUCTIONSP Bond is an acrylic resin-based self-priming bond that can be used to bond composite restorations to dentine and enamel.INSTRUCTIONSStep 1: Isolate the restoration using your preferred method. Step 2: Prepare the cavity with minimum tooth reduction. Bevel cavosurface-enamel margins. Step 3: Following the manufacturer’s instructions, etch the dentine for 15 seconds and enamel surfaces for at least 20 seconds with BDT’s 37% phosphoric acid Etching Gel, or similar. Rinse thoroughly. Blot excess moisture leaving the tooth moist. Note: Highly fluoridated enamel may require longer etch times to achieve the desired etch pattern. Step 4: Using a fully-saturated brush tip for each coat, apply two coats of SP Bond to the dentine and enamel surfaces. Dry gently with clean, dry air for 3-5 seconds after each coat. Step 5: Light cure for 10 seconds. Step 6: Place the composite restoration following the manufacturer’s instructions for placement, curing and finishing. Always replace the cap after use. STORAGEStore below 25°C (77°F) and out of intense light.
